• Fiji to Japan singlehanded on a 43ft catamaran

• Owned and refit over 10 sailing and power yachts; Owned and managed two charter companies in Fiji and New Zealand

• CAPTAIN, OWNER, “S/Y Q2”, Wright Lavranos 43’ Sailing Catamaran, 2020 – 2025

  • Refit and sailed over 15,000nm, including New Zealand to Fiji to Vanuatu to New Caledonia to Australia to New Zealand

  • Sailed from Fiji to Japan via Micronesia and the Mariana Islands, singlehanded

• CAPTAIN, OWNER, “S/Y LEVANA”, Island Packet 420 45’ Cutter, 2019 – 2020

  • Refit and sailed from Fiji to New Zealand

• –CAPTAIN, OWNER, “S/Y QUIXOTIC”, Voyage 43’ Sailing Catamaran, 2016 – 2018

  • Purchased after a cyclone, extensively repaired, upgraded, refit, outfit and sailed over 8,000nm between Fiji and New Zealand (made the passage safely four times over two years) and throughout the Fiji Islands

  • Created successful high-end, luxury charter business: Quixotic Charters Fiji

  • Operated the catamaran as Captain until I hired professional crew to take over in 2018

  • Purchased, refit, outfit and sailed over 13,000nm from San Francisco, CA, USA to Fiji via Mexico, French Polynesia, Hawaii, Kiribati, the Cook Islands, Samoa and Tonga

• DELIVERY CAPTAIN, “S/Y ZEPHYR”, 1999 Outremer 55’ Performance Catamaran, March – April 2015

  • Delivered 3,000nm upwind from Tahiti to Hawaii via the Tuamotus and Marquesas

  • Sailed over 2,000nm during three years’ ownership and liveaboard in the San Francisco Bay and along the California Coast
