It all starts and ends with the crew. Lewis, the captain, is as professional and experienced as you can get with his constant vigilance, attention to detail, ability to fix anything on board and methodical cheerful approach. Alyssa is a treasure who anticipates every need in a prescient, unassuming authentic and quite frankly loving manner. Her ability to run the boat is only surpassed by her genuine talent in the galley. We are very fussy about our food and my wife prepares a better meal than you will find in a fancy restaurant but Alyssa took us by surprise with her amazing talent. NOT TO BE MISSED! Oh, by the way, the tribal islands, snorkeling and boat activities were also beyond our hopes and fantasies.

Wow! Absolutely perfect. There are not enough words for me express how amazing our week was aboard the Quixotic catamaran. Lewis is a truly spectacular captain and Alyssa’s cooking was nothing short of amazing. From the first moment we started sailing, we knew we were in good hands. - Lewis was incredibly informative responsive and willing to help create the best charter possible. When we stepped aboard, we were in awe of how beautiful and well-kept the boat was. The trip only got better from there. It was our first trip to the Fiji and the crew went above and beyond to show us everything the islands had to offer. Lewis and Alyssa truly love sailing, and it shows in his willingness to take us to the most beautiful and out of the way secluded spots. They took us to private beaches to snorkel, kayak, and paddle board, but also made sure we didn't miss the *must sees* places of Taveuni, Rabi, Buca and Vanua Levu. Alyssa not only provided our gourmet meals, but they were top-notch delicious meals that were thoughtfully planned and prepared using the natural resources of Fiji. She never seized to amaze us every beautifully creative and delicious meals. The boat itself was amazing and beautiful with a the state-of-the-art desalination system that provided fresh drinking and bathing water, which Lewis had clearly put a lot of work into. Alyssa not only cooked us amazing meals but took such wonderful care of us that we could truly relax and not have to worry about where we were going or what we were going to do next. Lisa and I have done a lot of traveling over the years, and this was the first trip where we got to live fully *in* every single moment we had as opposed to stressing about what came next. They were both charming and a lot of fun and willing to share their yachting experiences. We can’t imagine seeing the Fiji any other way than on the Quixotic catamaran; it was definitely a bucket list trip and we plan on going back for a repeat performance someday.
